First, let me tell you about myself … I am a serial entrepreneur in the past 22 years in batik business, fashion clothing export, restaurant & catering.

As I come from a family that runs a business, so since the age of 20, I was already doing a business.

My first business (and until now it is still active) is wholesaler of men’s batik garment. So, I manufacture the products & sell all over Jakarta & West Java.

Those days everything were still done in an offline way.

Salesperson used to go from stores to stores in different cities & get the orders.

Then slowly things start to change  – the online wave came. I predicted that eventually business will become online because of rapid advance in technology.

I have no idea how to market business digitally so I was totally relying on the agencies. I thought they were the experts.

In reality, they were just doing it to get money for themselves, not for me.

After almost 5 years of juggling & trying so many things without any result, I decided to master it myself & do it independently in house.

I really got no choice … I lost so many opportunities & time is running out.

So then, we started …

• putting ads
• running email marketing

Everything, we did ourselves.

Another thing that happened while learning & doing business digitally is that I fell in love with it.

I got really fascinated because now I can reach almost anybody wherever they are just by marketing & selling it without leaving my office.

The news of my success somehow known by my friends, so they also asked me for help in doing their digital marketing.

As I was helping my friends, I enjoyed every process of it & become more attached. The hidden passion of teaching inside me sparked.

Thereafter, I decided to become an Educator & Consultant of Digital Business. This is when Panen Digital is born in June 2017.
